The course lasts 30 hours divided into 5 days (from Monday to Friday), consists of a theoretical part and a practical part where you will learn the correct management of the donkey in long journeys independently, training and training he needs to prepare for journeys longer than a week, how to handle more demanding situations, as well as the most suitable equipment, mapping and orientation and finally the laws and the rules of the road.

The lesson time is from 9 to 12 and from 15 to 18, half a day will be dedicated to the theoretical part and half to the practical part with variations depending on the season, two days will be dedicated to donkey trekking independently, where each participant will proceed in autonomy, you will have to put into practice what we have learned in the field and manage the equipment.

The course is held by Lisa Mabilia, 2nd level country riding technician issued by a primary sports promotion body recognized by CONI, instructor, trainer and equestrian guide and donkey technician with experience in dairy donkey farms, equestrian clubs and president of the 'asd Asino Felice.

The courses are for a maximum of 6 people to keep the quality of the course high.

The course is part of the 32 training hours for participation in the exams for the patent of the Technical Someggiato.

COSTS

Registration and insurance cost 15 euros + 35 euros for the reimbursement of expenses for the training material of the course.

The cost of the 5-day internship is 450 euros, at the end of the course a certificate of participation will be issued. For those wishing to practice more, it can stay for other weeks.

It will be possible to have lunch and dinner in the bars, pizzerias and trattorias in the area and sleep at the various B & Bs in the area at low cost.
